Report : The world will never forget Steve Jobs and it is because he gave us some of the best technology and wisdom of all time.
Throughout his life, Steve helped many people around him in achieving their goals and accomplishing what they really wanted. Steve persuaded hundreds of people to believe in themselves and in that they had the power to do anything that they wanted.
In a recent interview with The Washington Post, Tim Cook, the current CEO of Apple Inc., opened up about his experiences with Jobs. Back in 1998, when Cook joined Apple, he knew that this was a once-in-a-lifetime kind of opportunity for him to work for a creative genius (Jobs).
Nearly six years after Job’s death, Cook spoke about his relationship with him in a candid interview.
“Among his last advice he had for me, and for all of you, was to never ask what he would do,” Cook recalled in an Oct. 19 speech at Apple headquarters. “‘Just do what’s right,’ he said.”
Cook expanded on the advice further by saying that the next best advice he received was “to be myself, to just be myself,” he said in an exclusive interview with The Washington Post. “[Jobs] took away the self-doubt that would naturally be there in whoever followed him. He was so smart to think about it and know what a gift it would be. There’s no bigger gift he could have given me than that statement. It took away the heavyweight.”
